Our Approach
Process by Mam Projects
At MAM Projects we immerse ourselves into the entire project lifecycles, from idea to handover and every step in between.
We know that council procedures can sometimes be complex, demanding and time-consuming, which is why our team will take care of all council and approval processes.

We submit a Development Application (DA) which is a proposal of your plans for them to review and assess, this can take between two to three months.

After you have your DA Consent you will need to get a Construction Certificate (CC). The CC involves the structural engineering drawings, stamping of drawing by Sydney Water, payment of long service levy, insurance certificates etc. Once this is approved (generally three weeks) then work on your project can commence.

Alternatively, we may apply for a Complying Development Certificate (CDC) which is essentially a combined DA and CC. In a bid to get work into the field quicker, the state government has introduced their own rules. If your property is zoned as complying and you meet state rules you can lodge your building proposal straight to a certifier and avoid council.

It is a two-stage process to gain full building approval under the council.
